Founded in 2008, The Asian Business Student Association is a member-based student organization under Michael G. Foster School of Business of University of Washington, dedicated to promoting Asian culture & diversity within our business communities.
2 | OUR MISSION
ABSA's mission is to empower prospective Asian business students to help them succeed in the professional world. To prepare our members for success in the business world, ABSA provides enriched professional, social, and cultural experiences, including workshops, professional networking opportunities, case competitions, company tours and philanthropy events. ABSA invites every student who is eager to learn and grow, regardless of ethnicity and background.
PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS
The Asian Business Student Association works with Hansen Belyea, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Microsoft and more to bring professionals for students to network with! We have amazing talks by top businessmen and women to tell us their experiences and tips for being successful in the industry!
CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY
We are a diverse community of students that strive to be inclusive and grow together as a community. And of course, we have fun boba social nights and get-togethers with our members to connect with each other and just hang out!
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
At ABSA we try to provide our members with the skills they need to succeed in the industry, whether that is helping members with their resume, learning Microsoft Excel, or even helping international students with their student visas we hope to help our members be prepared and well-equipped as they start to pave their careers.
