Treating Yourself to a Fun and Refreshing Summer

Hi everyone! We hope that you have been enjoying your summer break so far. If you’re spending time around the Seattle area, we have a few recommendations of what you can do. Whether you’re in the mood for a drink, meal, or walk in a park, we hope that you can use this list of places as inspiration for your next fun summer plan.


Here are some places to visit in Seattle:



Bambu

Bambu is a dessert and drink place that includes chè, coffee, and teas. You can select from their menu of chè or create your own. There’s also smoothies and fresh juices such as passion fruit and a coconut.



Coffeeholic House

Coffeeholic House is a Vietnamese coffee shop that was recently established in March 2020. Some of its best sellers include Coffeeholic Dream, Vietnamese Coffee, and Purple Haze Latte. They also have a variety of pastry items, smoothies, and teas. If you love coffee, you should definitely check this place out!


Dochi

Located in Uwajimaya, Dochi serves a range of unique flavors of Japanese mochi donuts. Enjoy the sweet taste of the slight crunch on the outside and the soft, chewy center.



Discovery Park

Just off the shores of Puget Sound, Discovery Park is the city’s largest public park. It has a nice view of the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges with tidal beaches, open meadow lands, streams, and more.



Gas Works Park

Located on the north end of Lake Union, Gas Works Park was built where the former gasification plant was. It’s a great place to walk around and enjoy the scenic view while also having a picnic with family and friends.



Happy Lemon

Happy Lemon is a place that is known for its delicious bubble waffles and drinks. It has a unique menu of classic, crema, fresh lemon, fruit tea, and smoothie series. Their bubble waffles smell and taste delicious and include flavors such as original, chocolate, and matcha red bean.



Kakigori Dessert Cafe

Kakigori Dessert Cafe offers bingsu, shaved ice, soft serve, honey toast, and more. Perfect for a hot, summer day, this place also has cute food designs.



Nana’s Green Tea

Rachel Ginger’s Beer
